Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
• Generate your own leads and also actively work company-provided leads
• Create and submit estimates to project managers
• Confident and persuasive, comfortable asking for the sale
• Follow up consistently until the job is closed
• Build strong relationships with property managers, board members, and HOAs
• Thrives in a small-business environment where performance and results matter
• Write clear, accurate emails and quotes without reliance on AI
• Answer incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and dependable
• Diligent and detail-oriented, with a habit of double-checking work for accuracy
• Assist with general office, scheduling, and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred (service & repair, construction, or related field)
• Ability to forecast costs and knowledge of estimation formulas
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
