Lathe Machinist

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to meet production and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Operate mills and other fabrication equipment as needed.
• Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain quality standards, safety procedures, and an organized work area.
• Support production schedules and quick-turn manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience.
• Strong blueprint-reading and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to perform precision measurements and quality inspections.
• Experience operating mills in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Doosan and Puma CNC machines.
• Fabrication and assembly experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control experience.
• Ability to work effectively during both steady and high-production periods.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of BLAINE, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Profit Match, 401k match, Full Health, Dental, Vision

This is a fully onsite position in BLAINE,MN.
