Occupational Therapist School Setting in Milford, DE

Help empower students to achieve their full potential by providing vital occupational therapy services in a supportive school-based environment. This contract opportunity calls for a licensed Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful impact, working full-time with students and collaborating closely with educators and families. Your expertise will help students overcome barriers, develop key life skills, and succeed academically and socially.

What we’re seeking:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
Full-time availability (37.5 hours/week)—no part-time consideration.
Solid background supporting students in K-12 educational settings.
Proven experience addressing autism spectrum and behavioral challenges.
Reliable transportation and comfortable commute to the Milford, DE area.
Ability to pass a drug screen, fingerprinting, and background check.
Professional communication, punctuality, and dependability.
Experience with school-based documentation, IEPs, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.

In this role, typical responsibilities include:

Delivering individualized and group occupational therapy interventions.
Assessing students’ functional abilities, writing detailed evaluation reports, and contributing to IEP development.
Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to maximize student engagement and participation.
Monitoring and documenting student progress toward established goals.
Educating school staff about OT strategies to foster classroom success.
