Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in San Diego, which is designed to facilitate optimal patient care and recovery. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Active Stride, you will:

• Consult with patients to evaluate their physical conditions, comprehensive medical histories, and specific symptoms to craft tailored treatment plans.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and implement corrective strategies utilizing therapeutic techniques.
• Educate patients on how to perform therapeutic exercises correctly to optimize results and prevent further injury.
• Utilize modalities such as stimulation or massage as a part of the healing process to promote recovery and enhance physical performance.
• Assist patients with mobility aids such as walkers, crutches, or wheelchairs, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation to track progress, set achievable goals, and adhere to best practices in record-keeping.
• Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and additional exercises to support recovery outside of clinic sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will cater to a diverse patient demographic ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, addressing conditions that may include sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. Our clinic emphasizes personalized treatment modalities to ensure that every patient receives the best possible care tailored to their unique needs and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are necessary for this role:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in documentation and computer skills, as you will be required to manage patient records through electronic systems.
• A flexible and agile mindset to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Active Stride offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
