REWINDER OPERATOR

GREENEVILLE, TN

2ND SHIFT

4: 00PM TO 2: 30AM

$18.50 per hour-PAID WEEKLY!

The Rewinder Operator is responsible for operating rewinding equipment to inspect, slit, rewind, and prepare printed labels for shipment. This position ensures finished products meet customer specifications by maintaining quality standards, identifying defects, and packaging completed rolls accurately. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate rewinder and slitting equipment according to company procedures.
• Inspect labels for print quality, color consistency, alignment, and defects.
• Remove defective labels and notify supervisors of quality concerns.
• Set up and adjust rewind machines for various label sizes and specifications.
• Count, label, and package finished rolls according to customer requirements.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate production records.
• Load and unload rolls of label stock and finished product.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, GMP standards (if applicable), and company policies.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
• Assist in other production or warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, printing, or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors and identify print defects.
• Manual dexterity to handle labels, tools, and machine controls.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Exposure to moving machinery, paper dust, adhesives, and varying noise levels.
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
