What You'll Do

As an Assembler or Machine Operator, you'll help manufacture high-quality windows and doors while ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are met.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

✅ Assembling windows and doors according to specifications and quality standards

✅ Reading work orders, production schedules, and assembly instructions

✅ Selecting and preparing materials for production

✅ Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively

✅ Measuring and verifying dimensions using tape measures and other precision tools

✅ Conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process

✅ Reporting equipment issues, material shortages, and quality concerns

✅ Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area

✅ Working closely with team members to achieve daily production goals

✅ Following all company safety procedures and best practices

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
• Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, assembly, production, or general labor experience
• Construction, carpentry, woodworking, or mechanical aptitude
• Experience interpreting blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr.
