What You'll Do

As an Assembler, you'll help build high-quality windows and doors while meeting production, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble windows and doors according to work instructions, control plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Read and follow production schedules, work orders, and assembly specifications.
• Select and verify the correct materials and components for each product.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Report material shortages, quality concerns, or production issues to team leaders.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, including:
  • Drills
  • Screw guns
  • Nail and staple guns
  • Chop saws
  • Routers
  • Sanders
• Measure and verify dimensions accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
• Handle and move materials weighing 50+ pounds as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or HSED.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents.
• Basic math skills, including measurements and simple calculations.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable attendance and a safety-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or general labor experience.
• Experience in construction, carpentry, or mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in multiple production areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA.

The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr.
