Job Description
The Firefighter's Association of the State of New York (FASNY) is seeking a full-time staff accountant to support our finance team. This is an ideal position for someone with entry-level accounting and prior office experience. Responsibilities will include accounts payable processes, entering, and purchase order approvals, tracking inter-company receivables, accruals of expenses and receivables. This position requires excellent communication skills.
Interested applicants will need to be able to work in either our Albany or Hudson office.
This position will require candidates have an associate's degree in accounting. If hired, candidates will be expected to meet all hiring guidelines as outlined by the NYS Department of Health, which will require a criminal background check.
