Business Development Executive (Las Vegas)

Company Description: Xavion LifeSciences LLC (a new JVC between Bionpharma based in Princeton, NJ and Axar Pharma based in Las Vegas, NV) is seeking to hire a seasoned pharmaceutical commercial BD executive with strong leadership skills. Xavion is a growing specialty pharmaceutical R&D company with 2-prong business focus, namely (1) “product piece” - identification and development of marketable niche pharmaceutical products addressing unmet medical/clinical needs via 505b2 regulatory pathway and pharmaceutical community needs pertaining to complex generics via 505j regulatory pathway ; and (2) “service piece” - providing healthcare companies patient centric cost-efficient and time-efficient pharmaceutical innovation and development end to end solution to meet their business goals.

Role Description: This is a highly visible and direct impact position.

Title: Business Development Lead (CBO/CRO)

Reporting To: CEO or Designee

Key Responsibilities

1. All commercial activities for Xavion with positive cash-flow impact on JVC with key focus in North America, EU, South Americas, RoW (presented in order of focus).

2. Key impact deliverable areas include, but not limited to,

a. successful and timely identification and finalization of relevant marketing partner lead generations to monetize Xavion pipeline in most effective and efficient manner with direct positive impact on the cash-flow;

b. successful and timely identification and finalization of CDMO project leads from third party healthcare companies as an diversified stream of cash flow;

c. managing and growing key accounts, nurturing long-term client relationships, and ensuring a high-level customer satisfaction.

d. identification and finalization of qualified and compliant contract manufacturing organizations in most time and cost-effective and efficient manner for Xavion pipeline;

e. actively participate and contribute in existing New Product Selection Committee and its established process of identification and selection of Xavion pipeline candidates through pragmatic business case and sensitivity analysis as well as through lead generation, networking and comprehensive/timely market research;

f. lead construction of robust pragmatic comprehensive business plans in conjunction with promoters with periodic update; (f) actively participate and lead Xavion at relevant trade shows and exhibitions.

3. In conjunction with designated Xavion in-house Legal/IP Lead Timely and successful contract negotiation and finalization with marketing partners for out licensing of Xavion pipeline as well as for CDMO projects; and contract manufacturing organizations with leveraged techno-commercial and legal positions for Xavion.

4. Periodic and comprehensive update of market intelligence and competitive landscape on Xavion pipeline projects as well as CDMO network globally.

5. Timely and effective/efficient follow ups with all partners.

6. Timely & comprehensive financial analysis of Xavion pipeline projects from ROI perspectives including but not limited to determining threshold indicative transfer pricing and pricing dynamics, cost control principle and continuous cost reduction initiatives in conjunction with CMO and API-CCS Vendors.

7. Attend to any other strategic and/or tactical tasks as assigned from time to time.

8. Daily activities include conducting meetings and presentations with prospective and existing clients, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with internal teams to align proposals, pricing, and service delivery. The individual will track performance against sales targets, prepare regular reports, and provide insights that support strategic planning and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

1. Strong New Business Development and Lead Generation Skills include prospecting, qualifying leads, and building a robust sales pipeline for product vertical (licensing) and CDMO service vertical (fees-for-service).

2. Solid understanding of Business principles and Account Management, with experience managing customer relationships and driving repeat business.

3. Excellent Communication and Techno-commercial skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

4. Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or related industries.

5. A leader who is self-directed and goal/result oriented with demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple opportunities, and meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

6. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with proficiency in CRM tools and basic office software.

7. A strong sense of urgency and ownership.
