Position Highlights

The Senior Marketing & Promotions Coordinator is an integral member of the Marketing and Communication Department at Saunders College of Business at RIT. The position reports directly to the director of marketing and communications. This is an on campus position although there are currently flexible work options that do allow some remote work days.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supports the day-to-day operations of the department through administrative tasks including scheduling sending/updating calendar invites and conference calls preparing meeting and presentation materials and providing customer service
• Maintains department websites and updates website content as needed
• Coordinates the printing of publications and marketing materials using on-and off-campus vendors
• Monitors tracks and assesses marketing success through data collection and analysis
• Performs market research to support campaigns projects and initiatives
• Ensures the proper documentation organization and maintenance of project documents and files
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of administrative procedures and practices
• Knowledge of communications and marketing strategies
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis and use data to influence decision making
• Skill in written verbal and interpersonal communication

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in related field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered

Job Level Overview

Operations Administrative Service or Technical Support Level 4 - Advanced or lead role with deep subject matter expertise and/or functions as a formal or informal team lead. Leads challenging and non-routine tasks assignments and projects often coordinating across teams and developing new methods or techniques. Mentors less experienced staff and reviews or delegates work.
