DatamanUSA is looking for a Medical Assistant for our direct client based in AZ. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner with excellent people skills.

Job Details:

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 3-6 months

Roles & Responsibilities:

*) Perform duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel

*) Prepare patients for examinations and treatments

*) Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and record chief complaints

*) Complete required documentation in electronic health records and other systems

*) Perform office procedures, tests, examinations, venipunctures, and laboratory tests

*) Administer injections, immunizations, and TB skin tests according to protocol

*) Transcribe provider orders and schedule follow-up appointments

*) Maintain exam/procedure room supplies and cleanliness

*) Conduct administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, scheduling, and document preparation

*) Utilize Microsoft Office applications to create documents, spreadsheets, emails, and calendar tasks

Required Qualifications:

*) High school diploma or GED

*) Certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant Health Care Training Program in accordance with Arizona.

*) Current completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators

*) Current First Aid Certification

*) Minimum one year of past work experience in a Medical Assistant or related position
