Banquet Captain Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore seeks a Banquet Captain to supervise and oversee banquet functions, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Supervise and oversee the service of banquet functions as assigned by the Assistant Banquet Manager or Banquet Manager. Participate in the service and removal of food during banquet functions, offering pre‑determined menu selections and maintaining knowledge of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation method. Communicate guest orders—including any special needs or requests—to the kitchen, and check completed kitchen orders against the guest’s original order. Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality and be available to guests, clients, and group contacts to ensure satisfaction. Train, motivate, recommend discipline, and supervise food servers, ensuring that all cultural and core standards are met. Assist with administrative duties, including closing banquet checks and preparing supply requisitions.
