Chief of Staff

Our client is a fast-growing, YC-backed AI infrastructure startup building technology that makes AI models dramatically faster and more efficient. Their platform helps enterprises optimize and scale large language model deployments, delivering faster performance, lower costs, and more reliable AI infrastructure. Position Overview Our client is seeking a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the CEO as a strategic partner and operational leader. This is a highly visible role with broad ownership across company strategy, operations, recruiting, customer engagement, finance, and special projects. You’ll be responsible for driving critical initiatives, solving ambiguous problems, and ensuring the company's highest-priority objectives move forward as the business scales rapidly. Key Responsibilities Partner directly with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives and company priorities Own high-impact, cross-functional projects from idea through execution Support key customer relationships, recruiting efforts, and executive communications Oversee operational needs including vendors, contracts, legal coordination, and special projects Identify bottlenecks, build processes, and solve business-critical problems as the company scales Translate technical concepts into clear communication for customers, investors, candidates, and partners Qualifications Experience in Chief of Staff, Founder Associate, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, Consulting, or a similar role Proven success operating in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments Strong execution, project management, and organizational skills Experience working closely with founders or executive leadership Excellent communication skills and sound business judgment Comfortable navigating ambiguity, wearing multiple hats, and driving outcomes independently High agency, strong attention to detail, and technical curiosity Candidates must be willing to work onsite five days per week in San Francisco. #J-18808-Ljbffr
