Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Pennsburg, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an armed officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location supporting critical infrastructure operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter points, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
