RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Shelby, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN for the MedSurg/Tele unit of a certified chest pain and stroke center. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience and be comfortable working with a variety of patient types, including those with stroke, respiratory illnesses, and renal failure.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a variety of conditions including stroke, flu, pneumonia, renal failure, and more
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips
• Provide wound care and manage drains/tubes
• Perform PIV starts and manage central lines

Qualifications

Required:

• 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
• RN License
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
