Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Enterprise Credit Risk, data analysis, and technology delivery. The ideal candidate will drive requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and testing activities while working closely with development teams building modern web-based and data-driven platforms. This role requires a combination of analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, technical acumen, and Agile delivery experience to support scalable and reliable risk reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and Process Modeling.
• Experience supporting Credit Risk, Risk Management, Financial Services, or Regulatory Reporting initiatives.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum, User Story development, and SDLC processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience performing data analysis, business process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Full Stack Application Development concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with Angular, React.js, and modern web application frameworks.
• Understanding of Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, Java-based enterprise applications, and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD concepts, release management, and testing methodologies.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and production implementation activities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, risk management teams, and technology partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Elicit and translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops, backlog grooming sessions, requirements reviews, and solution design discussions.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for streamlining, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Full Stack Developers, Architects, Data Engineers, and QA teams throughout the Agile software delivery lifecycle.
• Conduct data analysis, impact assessments, root cause analysis, and dependency mapping across applications and data sources.
• Support API integrations, reporting workflows, and system-to-system data exchange requirements.
• Validate requirements through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case reviews, and defect management activities.
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business, operational, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Develop business process documentation, training materials, user guides, and implementation support artifacts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Monitor project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Build subject matter expertise in Enterprise Credit Risk processes, reporting standards, and supporting technology platforms.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure successful adoption and implementation of technology solutions.
