Precast Plant Operations Supervisor

Lead Daily Operations in San Antonio, TX (78225) Step into the heart of our precast plant and guide the flow of work from first form prep to final cure. As the Precast Plant Operations Supervisor, you orchestrate crews, schedules, and quality checks to keep products moving safely and on time. A day in this role You arrive before the first pour, review production dashboards, walk the yard, and realign resources to hit delivery dates. You host a quick safety huddle, verify form readiness, and check mix specs with the team. Throughout the shift, you track progress against the schedule, jump in to remove bottlenecks, and document results for leadership. What you will do Direct and coordinate daily production activities for efficient, reliable plant output. Manage production schedules, re‑sequencing work as needed to meet deadlines. Champion safety: enforce regulations, model best practices, and cultivate a safety‑first culture. Perform frequent quality inspections to uphold product standards. Coach, train, and evaluate production staff to grow skills and performance. Partner with management to set production targets and improvement strategies. Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports for leadership review. Troubleshoot issues quickly to reduce downtime and maintain flow. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; coursework/degree in construction management or related field is a plus. Hands‑on background in precast concrete or concrete construction. Proven leadership with the ability to guide teams and hold standards. Strong problem‑solving mindset and keen attention to detail. Working knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices. Clear, effective communication—written and verbal.
