Salary: commensurate with experience, plus 401(k), health/dental/vision, HSA/FSA, and gym membership.The Property Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting records, preparing financial analyses, and supporting reporting for a portfolio of real estate assets. This role requires treasury management, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight, and close collaboration with vendors, clients, and internal teams.Key responsibilities include:Perform treasury functions including cash transfers and wire approvals.Maintain accounting records for multiple properties.Oversee AP/AR functions and ensure accuracy of transactions.Prepare financial analyses including margins, receivables, and payables.Assist with monthly financial reports, investor reporting, and management reporting.Record transactions, reconcile balance sheets, and perform bank reconciliations.Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.Analyze spreadsheets and provide reporting insights.Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and streamline processes.Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2–3 years of accounting experience required.CPA preferred but not required.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; exposure to QuickBooks, Rent Manager, or Yardi a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, accuracy, and accountability.Ability to manage large data volumes and changing priorities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Benefits include:401(k) with company match.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.HSA/FSA options.Gym membership (LifeTime Fitness).Flexible work environment with one remote day per week after 3 months.Strong focus on work-life balance, team bonding, and community involvement.If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
