Cash handling experience is preferred.Communication Skills: From explaining banking products to resolving concerns, you're a pro at communication.Tech-Savviness: Embrace digital platforms and confidently guide customers through customer-facing technology.Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and support your colleagues.Responsible for greeting all bank customers, as they enter the branch, in a courteous and professional manner.Operate a teller window to process a variety of transactions within established guidelines, such as processing individual and commercial deposits, savings and checking transactions, cash advances, loan payments, credit card payments and other transactions.Enter customers' transactions into the computer to record transactions, and issue computer-generated receipts.Assist customers with questions regarding their accounts; Place holds on accounts, as appropriate.Order daily supply of cash, and count incoming cash; Balance currency, coins, and checks in the cash drawer and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on the computer screen.Participate in maintaining good customer relations by giving courteous, efficient service and developing new business by acquainting non-customers with bank services and presenting current customers with additional services; Identify and respond to these cross-sale opportunities by referring customers to the appropriate bank personnel.Record customer interactions in the bank's CRM platform.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school degree or equivalent required; Six months to one-year of related experience and/or training required in the area of cash handling or customer service.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally); Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Mathematical SkillsRequires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityRequires ability to use good judgment in making routine and complex decisions; Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and Services; Ability to accurately handle large sums of cash; Must be goal-oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals; Flexibility is necessary with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with an ability to quickly learn other bank-related programs.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
