Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical services.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer prescribed medications, including cardiac drips, and monitor their effects.
  
  
• 
  Perform patient assessments, including neurological status and telemetry monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.
  
  
• 
  Respond to acute patient needs swiftly, utilizing advanced procedures as necessary.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  
  
• 
  At least 1 year of nursing experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
  
  
• 
  Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, cardiac drips, and neurology care.
  
  
• 
  Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
