Network Systems Analyst

DescriptionKforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Network Systems Analyst who will be working with Network Team to implement NAC, Segmentation and SASE. Networking Engineering tasks and documentation.Summary:The primary focus of these roles is to perform patching and upgrading of Cisco network equipment (routers and switches), conduct vulnerability assessments, and support the design and implementation of secure, resilient network infrastructure. This includes advanced responsibilities across Cisco ACI, network segmentation strategies, and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.Responsibilities:* Design, implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure-including LAN, WAN, SDN, Cisco ACI fabrics, and OT networks-ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability* Deploy, maintain, and optimize Cisco network technologies, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and ACI components, while ensuring secure operations through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle upgrades* Enhance network security and compliance by developing, implementing, and enforcing policies related to segmentation, NAC enforcement, and industry-aligned standards and regulatory requirements* Implement and maintain network segmentation strategies, including micro-segmentation and policy-based controls across ACI and traditional environments* Administer NAC technologies (e.g., Cisco ISE), ensuring secure device authentication, access enforcement, and continuous posture assessmentsRequirements* CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent professional certifications* Additional certifications in Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, or SDN networking are advantageous* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Strong network operations and management capabilities* Working knowledge of cloud, compute, and storage ecosystems, ITIL processes, and vendor/operations management* Strong business and technical acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams* Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement* Ability to work independently and within collaborative team environmentsPreferred:* Advanced IP networking knowledge* Understanding of industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements* Familiarity with network licensing optimization, cloud networking solutions, and modern hybrid architectures* Commitment to staying current with technological advancements and best practicesNice to have:* Experience with load balancers (e.g., NetScaler, F5)* Experience using SolarWinds, Net Flow or similar network monitoring tools* Exposure to DDoS protection solutionsJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $60
