We are seeking qualified and flexible candidates to apply for our growing Parts team.The primary purpose of the Shipping and Receiving Specialist is to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment by performing the essential job requirements to quality and productivity standards.Pay/SchedulePay is $17/hourSchedule of 7am-4pm Monday-FridayBenefitsExcellent health, vision, and dental insurance with family and child coverageShort- and long-term disability insurance and life insurance at group ratesAfter 1 year, a 401(k) with company matching dollars up to 4%Paid time offWe also offer great “in-house” benefits including discounted services, an employee vehicle purchase program and paid time off to volunteerResponsibilitiesVerify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipmentsAssist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise and match purchase orders to sales ordersRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shippedFill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated areasAssist in counting of physical inventory, movement of inventory and organization of shipping and receiving areaTake care of cores, damages and fasciasRun parts twice a day to Rydell Body ShopRun parts between Rydell GM / Honda – Nissan / Toyota.Perform other duties as assigned to ensure proper productivity of Parts departmentWillingness to work late nights when needed during winter/busy monthsQualificationsAbility to collaborate, cooperate, interpret and communicate informationEfficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel)Excellent customer service skillsKnowledge and ability to make decisionsUnderstanding of proper packaging methodsMust be able to lift at least 75lbsMust have clean driving record and valid driver's licenseWe are an equal opportunity employer.
