Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced healthcare professionals for a long-term care facility located in Vestal, NY. This facility provides a range of services, including rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care, with a patient capacity of 300 beds.

Shift Information

• Day Shift: 2x12-hour shifts (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM)
• Mid Shift: 5x8-hour shifts (02:45 PM - 11:15 PM)
• Weekend Shift: Weekends only, 8-hour shifts. Flexibility available but must cover weekend schedules.

Patient Care Details

The patient-to-nurse ratio ranges from 1:18 to 1:20, providing focused care to a diverse patient population, including those with Alzheimer's and dementia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid New York State license (no license hits allowed).
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Additional Requirements

• Weekend work required, specifically every other weekend per the facility's request.
• Must arrive 15 minutes before shifts and stay for 15 minutes after shifts.
• All time-off requests must be submitted upon application and will not be approved after an offer is made.
• Please provide proof of your license at the time of application.
• Reference verification is required, including one reference at submission and an additional reference prior to the contract start.

Orientation

Orientation occurs every two weeks; attendance is mandatory.

Compliance and Training

Compliance verification may take 1.5 to 2 weeks. Upon acceptance of an offer, access to required training modules will be given via email, and these modules must be completed 3 days prior to the start date.

Work Environment
