We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven automotive technician to fill an open position in our car dealership’s service department. Our ideal candidate will be confident running diagnostic equipment to identify and complete automotive repairs to electrical and software systems. $40 - $65 hourly

• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
• Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships
• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics
• Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business
• Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes

• ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
• Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary

• Certifications for diagnosing and repairing complex engine performance, fuel, electrical, and emissions issues
