About the Position

Job Title: Certified OB Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OB Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Days/Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OB experience required License: VA state license required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA certification required Must-Have: - Certified L&D tech - NBSTA certification and VA registration in hand - Experience with procedures including Cesarean Sections and Vaginal Deliveries Description: This position requires clinical review and auto-offer for a Certified OB Tech. Candidates must have experience in Labor & Delivery. They must be NBSTA certified and hold a valid VA state registration. The schedule includes a rotation of day and night shifts over a 6-week pay period. The assignment may require working 2 out of 3 winter holidays. Time off is limited to a maximum of 40 hours per contract. Preferred qualifications include experience with various surgical procedures relevant to Labor & Delivery. Essential skills include knowledge of Aseptic Technique and familiarity with specialized equipment. Team collaboration and support within an interdisciplinary environment is crucial. Travelers may need to float within their scope of practice as needed. Ensuring adherence to facility policies and procedures will be required.
