Hope Power & Industrial Inc. is a specialty manpower resource provider to contractors, industrial facilities and power generation plants.
We have an immediate need for MIG/TIG Welders to support (Light Gauge) metal fabrication shop & structural team with opportunity to provide quality shop fabricated products for major top 500 industries in service area.
Pay range: $25 - $28 DOE.
Seeking ONLY local applicants: Position NO Allowance Per Diem / Travel Expense.
Responsibilities:
- Fit / Weld (stainless & ALum.) components together to complete finished product.
- Assist fabricators with manufacture and fabrication finished of metal products
- Collect raw material from inventory fabrication and components
- Be at work on time everyday. Typical work day hours are from 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM Mon-Thurs with some overtime required
- Follow instruction and obey safety rules.
- Assist fabricators with locating and positioning parts and components in machinery
Qualifications:
- Need 2-3 minimum experience in light guage (TIG / MIG) welding, mfg, or other related fields
- Must pass a visual weld test
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and procedures
- Familiarity with shop safety rules
- Have welding gear & hand tools and have the ability to handle physical workload
- Background Check and Drug Screen Required.
- Drug free work environment - must successfully meet the drug testing requirements
- Safety Aware- Must complete safety training – follow all safety rules and regulations
