Business Services Tech-Level 1 - Associate (0 - 5 Years)

This role supports cost management and internal controls activities. The position involves performing a wide range of clerical and administrative assistance duties. Individuals will be responsible for record maintenance, data compilation, and financial reporting in a detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders with a focus on commercial content and risk mitigation.
• Process Work Cycles and MR 11 transactions.
• Support the Jira service desk and perform month-end activities.
• Resolve vendor issues and handle urgent requests appropriately.
• Communicate with peers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with departments such as Engineering, Operations, Business Management, IT, Accounts Payable, and the Integrated Supply Chain.
• Maintain compliance with company SOX controls and procedures.
• Retrieve and compile data for financial reports, including budget, variance, and cost tracking.
• Assist with accounts payable activities when necessary.
• Participate in special projects and perform special assignments as required.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma / GED.

Experience: 0-5 years in administrative support, financial reporting, or clerical functions. 1-2 years in Procurement, Accounts Payable, or another administrative finance function is required.

Skills: A general understanding of Procurement and Accounting. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow business processes. A process improvement mindset is valued.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience is a plus.
