Registered Nurse – Acute CareSchedule: DaysAssignment Details:Guaranteed Hours: 36Contract Weeks: 13Requirements:Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the stateBasic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hireExperience as an acute care registered nurse preferredMinimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departmentsResponsibilities:Perform assessments and collect data focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status.Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and continuous manner according to established procedures and care plans.Identify patient learning needs and implement teaching as defined by care plans.Document patient care in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.Effectively supervise assigned coworkers and delegate patient care activities.Maintain professional growth and development through continuing education.Compliance / Notes:Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
