Senior Specialist, Global Purchasing

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Global Purchasing Senior Specialist to manage vendor relationships and coordinate purchase-to-pay processes across multiple countries in the HR function. The role involves overseeing procurement activities, financial tracking, and policy compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate purchase-to-pay processes for the People Organization across regional teams
- Manage full lifecycle of purchase orders in SAP/ARIBA including creation, maintenance, and timely closure
- Monitor and track invoices to ensure payment timeliness and conduct financial variance reporting
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to validate and approve invoices before payment processing
- Provide subject matter expertise on procurement, vendor management, and contract administration policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with financial budgeting and analysis
- Proficiency in SAP, ARIBA, and purchase order processing
- Advanced Excel and complex reporting capabilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in matrix teams
- Problem-solving ability with limited guidance
- Excellent communication skills for remote and regional collaboration
Compensation: $66,390 - $80,443
