Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team.

We are searching for a Clinical Neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and consultation services for pediatric, adolescent, and/or adult patients with a variety of neurological, neurodevelopmental, cognitive, psychiatric, and neurobehavioral conditions. The patient population will be determined based on the candidate's specialty training, clinical expertise, and departmental needs.

The Clinical Neuropsychologist will conduct and interpret standardized neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental functioning, including memory, attention, executive functioning, language, learning, and other cognitive domains. Responsibilities include developing diagnostic impressions, preparing comprehensive evaluation reports, and providing individualized recommendations to guide patient care, treatment planning, and appropriate educational or rehabilitative interventions.

The Clinical Neuropsychologist will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, neurologists, primary care and specialty physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis, optimize patient care, and coordinate appropriate treatment and referrals.

The Clinical Neuropsychologist will also provide education and clinical supervision to psychology pre- and post-doctoral trainees, medical students, psychiatry residents, child psychiatry fellows, staff, and the community. Additional responsibilities include providing feedback to patients and families regarding assessment findings, offering recommendations for cognitive and behavioral interventions, and participating in interdisciplinary case consultations.

Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience

• Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from a regionally accredited institution required, preferably from an American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited program.
• Completion of a predoctoral internship through an APA- or Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)-accredited program required.
• Completion of a formal two-year postdoctoral fellowship or residency in Clinical Neuropsychology, consistent with established specialty training guidelines, required.
• Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, interpreting assessment results, and developing diagnostic and treatment recommendations required.
• Specialized training and clinical experience in pediatric/adolescent or adult neuropsychology required, depending on the patient population served.
• Experience evaluating patients with neurological, neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative, cognitive, and/or psychiatric conditions preferred, as applicable to the candidate's specialty.
• Experience in an academic medical center, hospital, or multidisciplinary healthcare setting preferred.

Licensure(s) and Certification(s)

• Current California Board of Psychology (BOP) license in good standing required.
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP/ABCN) preferred, or eligibility to pursue board certification.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $110,000 - $145,000 . This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
