Security Officer

We are currently hiring a Security Officer for a site in Germantown, NY. This position offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 0500–1700 (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM), totaling 24 hours per week. Sign-On Bonus: $100 will be awarded to the candidates who are chosen for the positions and successfully completes 30 days of employment with no serious policy violations or attendance issues. Please be advised, to be eligible for the sign-on bonus, applications must be submitted on or before September 31, 2026. Reliable transportation is required, as public transit does not align with shift hours. The position requires a valid NYS Driver's License and the ability to meet Safe‑Drive program requirements. Officers will regularly operate a client vehicle.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct driving patrols throughout the property (Safe‑Drive certification required).
• Monitor access onto the property.
• Complete thorough daily activity logs.
• Write clear, detailed incident reports as needed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity.
• Work independently and manage responsibilities without direct supervision.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid NYS Driver's License (must be able to pass Safe‑Drive certification).
• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Excellent written communication skills for logs and reports.
• Ability to work independently.
• Professional demeanor and sound judgment when handling unexpected situations.
• Previous security experience is a plus but not required—we'll train you.
