Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License required Certifications: BCLS, NIH, ACLS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience, Patient Ratio Experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. This position is for night shifts, requiring 3 or 4 shifts per week. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:5-7. Certifications required include BCLS, NIH, and ACLS. Experience in the use of Cerner charting system is preferred. Candidates must be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. The role involves caring for acute medical-surgical patients with a range of diagnoses and care needs. Teamwork, compassion, and evidence-based practice are emphasized for high-quality patient care. Willingness to maintain professionalism and respect in interactions is essential. Only 2-3 call offs will be tolerated during the contract duration. Scrubs are not provided, and prior experience with various medical procedures and care protocols is essential. This position may require weekend shifts based on patient care needs.
