Job Description

• Create Tailor-Made Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy plans that help achieve their individual goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday functionalities
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff ensuring holistic patient care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate both patients and their families on effective therapy practices to promote continuing progress outside the clinical setting
• Monitor and Document Progress: Keep thorough clinical records and adapt treatment plans to align with patient improvements and needs

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education and certification

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
