Head of Human Resources, Miami | Soho House & Co The Tone: This is a full-time role at Soho House & Co, located in Miami. Soho House & Co operates a global collection of private members’ clubs, hotels, and restaurants. This role is critical as it serves as a strategic partner to leadership, driving the People & Development agenda to enhance the people infrastructure and further develop the company’s culture and values during a period of substantial growth. The individual will ensure alignment with strategic objectives while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. The TL;DR Role: Full Time Type: Full-time Location: In-person, Miami, FL Team: Reports to the VP of Operations and Managing Director; leads a team of Miami-based HR Managers. Mission: Own the strategic People & Development management, enhance the people infrastructure, and cultivate the company’s culture and values to support organizational growth and align with business objectives. What You’ll Actually Do Strategy & Alignment: Oversee the People strategy and translate business plans into a strategic human resource strategy consistent with company vision and objectives. Culture & Values: Drive a consistent work culture that embodies Soho House’s leadership principles, promoting high performance, and enhancing employee engagement and trust. HR Initiatives: Lead key initiatives across core HR disciplines including staffing, performance and talent management, compensation, benefits, and diversity. Leadership & Coaching: Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing coaching and advice on organizational design, development, employee engagement, and retention issues. Team Management & Development: Lead, manage, recruit, and develop a team of Miami-based HR Managers, and partner with other teams to optimize talent acquisition and development programs. The Must-Haves Background: Executive-level HR leadership with a focus on organizational development, culture, and substantial growth environments. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in situations requiring change and evolution, including a senior leadership role in an organization or business of similar scale and experience managing a team. Skills: Organizational development, leadership and talent development, HR process design and HRIS, compensation management, HR administration, diversity and inclusion.
