Parts CounterpersonThe Parts Counterperson at Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe is a Full Time position. The Parts Counterperson is responsible for working with customers to identify and locate automotive parts and equipment, as well as assist in completing sales orders and processing returns. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of automotive parts and customer service skills with a commitment to providing superior customer service.Benefits may include medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid vacation/sick days, and bonuses for exceptional performance.Responsibilities:Follow company guidelines for outstanding customer service and satisfactionGreet customers and assist in identifying and locating the required automotive parts and equipmentReceive customer orders and/or returnsProcess shipments and returnsTrack inventory and suggest to managers when orders are neededAssist in cost control and inventory controlComplete invoices and maintain customer/supplier recordsAnswer customer inquiries and support escalated customer issuesUse computers to look up parts informationRecommend products that may better suit customer needsAssist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of inventory in the storeAssist in loading/unloading of parts and assisting customers with carrying parts to their vehicleRequirements:High school diploma or GEDPrevious experience in parts counter position at an automotive service establishment with knowledge of automotive partsPrior experience with customer serviceKnowledge in pricing and parts cataloguesExcellent verbal and written communicationHighly organized, able to multitask and have a customer service-oriented attitudeBasic mathematical skillsComputer literacyAbility to lift up to 50 poundsPass pre-employment background and drug screenEEO Statement: Chevrolet Cadillac of Santa Fe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
