Cloud Network Engineer - L3 ( 23X7) Oncall - USA

Location : USA ( Preferred Location: Atlanta and NJ)


Expertise in ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting network issues, and optimizing network performance.


Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and maintain the networking infrastructure for our cloud platform.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, both proactively and reactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams for network-related escalations.
• Conduct network performance analysis, capacity planning, and optimization to improve overall efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud networking.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.


Qualifications:
• Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in networking, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting tools, such as Python or Ansible.
