The Opportunity

We're looking for a Quality Assurance & Compliance Associate to join our Supply Chain Quality & Production team. This role supports our U.S. - based quality operations and plays a key part in ensuring every product meets FOCO's safety, compliance, and performance standards before shipment.

What You’ll Do

✅ Product Quality Assurance & Control

• Support pre-shipment inspections and in-line quality checks
\n
• Review test reports, factory submissions, and inspection documents for accuracy
\n
• Maintain QA/QC logs, trackers, and documentation in digital systems
\n
• Assist with rework coordination and issue resolution when defects arise
\n

Supplier Compliance & CSR

\n
• Help manage documentation for supplier compliance (SEDEX, FLA, FLMA, NCAA, Disney, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)
\n
• Support audits and compliance requirements with internal teams and vendors
\n
• Communicate directly with suppliers on submission needs and expectations
\n

Product Specs & Safety

\n
• Assist in creating and maintaining product specifications and packaging confirmations
\n
• Ensure all products comply with general product safety regulations and retailer standards
\n
• Collaborate with product teams on early risk assessment reviews
\n

Cross-Functional Collaboration

\n
• Coordinate with FOCO’s global offices, including China-based QA teams, to monitor sample statuses, testing, and inspection progress
\n
• Liaise with sourcing, design, and production teams to close quality loops
\n
• Provide technical documentation support to suppliers
\n

Quality Reporting

\n
• Track customer complaints and assist with identifying trends
\n
• Contribute to monthly QA scorecards and internal reports
\n

Training & Development

\n
• Complete training in QA systems, product safety, and compliance
\n
• Participate in online learning modules to build industry-specific knowledge
\n

✈️ Travel

\n
• Up to 30-35% travel to Asia (China) for factory visits, audits, and inspections as required
\n

What You’ll Need

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
\n
• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with QA systems a plus
\n
• A collaborative, curious mindset and willingness to learn
\n
• Previous QA/QC or product compliance experience is a bonus, but not required
\n
