Job Description

Our client is currently hiring a Quality Inspector in Clearwater, FL. As the Quality Inspector, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results. The inspector conducts visual inspection and functional tests to determine whether products meet Quality and/or regulatory standards as defined by the company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and functional inspection of finished goods, work-in-process, service part orders and received goods
• Remove seats from chairs to inspect internal wiring
• Record acceptance or non-conformities on Product Design History travelers and QC logs.
• Communicate any required adjustments or re-work to production staff and reconfirms re-work is completed to final specifications.
• Ensure test and metrology equipment is calibrated and operates with specifications.
• Notify management prior to calibration expiration or if found to be out of compliance.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Comply with ISO Quality Management System.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Qualifications

• High school or Technical School diploma required.
• Advanced Quality Assurance methods and/or ISO quality management system certification preferred.
• MS Office proficiency
• Experience with formal problem-solving processes, focused on root cause analysis.
• Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30lbs.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $19-20.00 hourly not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
