Quality Assurance Technician

Tech 1, Quality Assurance (Tempe, AZ) Pay Rate: $21.00/hr Schedule: Mon–Fri | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Work Setting: 100% Onsite Interview: In-person Location: Tempe, AZ 85281 Job Summary We’re hiring a Tech 1, Quality Assurance to support day-to-day activities in the Field Assurance (Complaint Handling) Lab. This role focuses on timely complaint returned sample analysis, strong documentation practices, and maintaining a clean/safe lab environment. Familiarity with measuring equipment, microscopes, biosafety practices, GLP/GDP, and clean room environments is a plus. Key Responsibilities Clean and disinfect lab spaces; maintain a clean and safe work environment Collect, record, and analyze sample testing results accurately Perform sample analysis testing per protocols and written directions Decontaminate and document complaint samples received in the lab Escalate unexpected results to the supervisor/franchise team Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Support continuous improvement of lab processes and test methods Use calibrated laboratory tools/equipment Participate in planning, scheduling, and tracking of work Required Qualifications HS Diploma and/or Associate degree in technical studies, science, math, or engineering 3–5 years of experience preferred Detail-oriented with basic troubleshooting/problem-solving skills Able to work cross-functionally in a team environment Proficient in MS Office Must have proof of Hep B series, be willing to undergo the Hep B series, or sign a waiver Technical writing skills Preferred Qualifications Ability to read engineering drawings Lab safety skills OGP Flash 500 Smartscope experience Strong oral/written communication & presentation skills Work Environment / Physical Requirements Mix of standing, walking, sitting; frequent hand use for tools/equipment. Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
