Project Manager - Commercial Electrical Construction

Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role will oversee project schedules, budgets, field coordination, procurement, client relationships, and overall project performance.The ideal candidate has a strong background with a self-performing commercial electrical contractor and can effectively manage multiple complex projects while coordinating with field teams, general contractors, clients, and internal departments. Experience with healthcare, higher education, institutional, manufacturing, or other large-scale commercial projects is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesManage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through completion.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, procurement plans, and cost forecasts.Monitor project financials, including labor productivity, billing, change orders, forecasting, and profitability.Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors.Review electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction documents.Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, commissioning, closeout, and project turnover.Coordinate with estimating and preconstruction teams during project handoff.Work with BIM/VDC teams on constructability, coordination, and installation planning.Lead project meetings and communicate progress with owners, architects, engineers, and leadership.Identify project risks and resolve scheduling, budget, and field issues.Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project partners.Ensure projects meet company, contractual, quality, and safety standards.
