Assistant Property Manager

Job Description

Location: New Orleans, LA

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations at a New Orleans apartment community.

MUST HAVE:

Prior property management experience
Affordable housing experience strongly preferred
Experience with Yardi
Knowledge of leasing and property management operations
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Compliance experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Assist residents and respond to resident inquiries
Process applications and leasing paperwork
Maintain resident files and documentation
Assist with recertifications and compliance paperwork
Follow up with prospects and applicants
Assist with rent collection and resident account inquiries
Prepare notices and resident correspondence
Provide general administrative and property management support

Ideal Candidate: A dependable professional with hands-on property management experience who is comfortable working with residents, leasing, compliance, documentation, and daily onsite operations.
