Catalent
Catalent seeks a Manager, Facilities to lead maintenance and utility systems at its flagship Winchester, Kentucky manufacturing site. The role involves overseeing preventative maintenance programs, managing utility reliability, driving sustainability initiatives, and leading a team supporting 24/7 pharmaceutical tablet and capsule production.
Responsibilities
- Provide facility support for continuous 24/7 manufacturing operations and minimize production downtime
- Define and manage utility systems reliability programs to maximize availability cost-effectively
- Develop, maintain, and improve maintenance standard operating procedures for compliance and audits
- Lead, evaluate, and provide coaching to facilities team members; manage training compliance
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and sustainability actions across energy, water, and waste systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of utility design and troubleshooting experience
- 2+ years managing and developing technical teams
- Experience with central utilities (WFI, purified water, compressed air, steam, etc.)
- Project budgeting and external vendor management experience
- Background in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with process controls and equipment engineering
