Outpatient, free-standing cancer center
EMR: Epic
Trauma Level III facility
Join an established team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs
Radiation Oncology support available on-site
Schedule
4 or 5 days per week
Clinic hours: 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
Administrative day or half-day available as needed
Patient Volume & Case Mi x
Average outpatient volume: patients per day
Approximately 80% Oncology and 20% Hematology
Focus on timely evaluation of new solid tumor diagnoses, typically within one week of referral
Most benign hematology cases are referred out
Inpatient responsibilities limited to patients admitted for chemotherapy treatment
Call Coverage
Shared call rotation of 1:4
Seven days of call during assigned week, including one weekend
Call ratio: 1 in 4
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology
Active state license preferred (or ability to obtain)
Comfortable managing outpatient oncology and hematology patients
Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 6 8 weeks
