Job Full Description

Job Title: 1st Shift Mechanical Assembler (Evaluation-to-Hire)

Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Classification: Evaluation-to-Hire

We are seeking a reliable Mechanical Assembler to join a growing team responsible for building off-road vehicles and tractors. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for overtime in a clean and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assembly of components, including loaders, backhoes, and mid-mount mower attachments
Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet specifications and operating requirements
Assist with material movement and inventory control, including cycle counts
Follow daily production schedules and communicate effectively with supervisors
Repair units that do not meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Experience or training in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently within a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Equipment Used:

Hand tools
Overhead crane

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 35-50 lbs
Prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift

Work Environment:

Clean shop setting with moderate noise levels
Safety-conscious workplace; safety glasses and gloves provided, steel-toe shoes required
Shop floor temperatures may be cool
