Senior Automation Tester

Senior Level Automation Engineer/QA TesterLooking for a Senior Level Automation Engineer/QA Tester who can act as the lead in the planning, monitoring, controlling and execution of testing related activities for the development and QA team. In this role you will be oversee and assist with QA activities performed by internal or external testers to ensure that quality processes are maintained throughout projects. You will also be tasked with providing mentoring, coaching and training for other team members on various quality assurance tools, processes, and procedures. Candidates who apply must have heavy API testing and SQL experience.This position is contract to hire and will require that you work onsite in Atlanta, GA one day a week.Other job duties include:Review requirements specifications and technical design documentsEstimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activitiesDevelop, maintain and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and scriptsCreate, maintain, execute, and analyze automation test scriptsRequirements:Minimum 5+ years in quality assurance required or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, etc., and assisting the test automation team with ongoing API & frontend test automation maintenanceStrong SQL Server experienceKnowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSFunctional testing with tools such as Insomnia or PostmanPerformance testing with JMeterAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyAbility to manage time and priorities without supervisionAbility to coordinate and collaborate with internal and external customersExcellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to communicate with team members of all levels of the organizationRequired Skills: Extensive experience with REST APIs Extensive experience with SQL Lead experience API performance/load testing experience Web or Mobile testing experience Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes Notes: This position is a hybrid model.
