Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Float Pool

Department: 34119 Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - NCBH Nursing Float Pool Location: Winston Salem, NC (Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Med Surg Float Pool). The float pool includes multiple inpatient critical care units. Schedule: Day Shift 7a-7p, 12‑hour shifts. Hours per week: 36. Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour. What You’ll Do Deliver safe, patient‑centered critical care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence‑based practice—monitoring complex patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care across multiple Med Surg settings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across units to drive optimal outcomes—promoting safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and maintaining flexibility to meet patient care needs. Required Qualifications Graduate of a Board of Nursing‑approved nursing program. Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience. Active, unrestricted RN license (multi‑state compact and/or state‑specific as applicable). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to adapt across multiple units. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
