Speech Language Pathologist

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Geriatric Location: SNF Center Salary Range: $44/hr-$55/hr (40 hours/week) Overview: This is a full-time position with flexibility for weekend hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with the elderly population and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the communication and swallowing abilities of geriatric patients Develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing skills Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities Document all patient interactions and progress in a timely and accurate manner Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in the field of speech-language pathology Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license or eligibility for state licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Minimum of 2 years of experience working with geriatric patients Knowledge of and experience with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders commonly seen in the geriatric population Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to work weekends as needed If you are a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for working with the elderly, we encourage you to apply for this critical need position. #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
