As a Security Officer - Full Time - Mornings in Cedar Rapids, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-related concerns in required reports while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
