Maintenance Technician
Our client, an industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Fall River, MA
Pay Range: $32.00
Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday 7:30am-11:30am
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery including motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns on molding machines, extruders, chillers, and other industrial equipment
- Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors for service support and project completion
- Interpret technical documents and equipment specifications to ensure proper maintenance procedures
- Maintain safety standards and guidelines during all maintenance activities
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with automated equipment and PLCs is a plus
- Willingness to acquire NFPA 70E Certification if not already certified
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support overtime as needed
