Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Deliver emergency room nursing care in accordance with facility standards and protocols
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Fulfill required holiday shift obligations, including 1–2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma center environment
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
